   The Meadows Kennel specializes in superior daycare and manners in a unique setting that is undeniably every dog's dream.  We have created a safe and fun environmnet where your dog can romp with friends, explore the grounds or lounge at the pooches pool.

    Owner-operator, with her teenage son Rick; Heidi Niemann grew up in Sonoma County.  "I have seen many changes to our countryside, and want a place for dogs with a country feeling under their steps." 

   Heidi being very involved in the community over the years, has listened to people's concerns with their dogs for years.  So, with her own dogs in tow she created the west side of her property with large seperated meadows, the back side with water play, connected to the more private sides and several cozy places for dogs to take breaks on fresh green grass by the pool, play frisbe, fetch or watch sheep and horses.

   The Meadows is created out of Heidi's desire to bring the highest quality of life to a pets experience away from you. To be 'hands on'.

    The grounds have been seperated into secure fenced areas for tiny, small, medium and large dogs.

      We also have a lounge area for older and rehabilitating dogs where they can be entertained by more mellow interaction. 

  All of the meadows have adjoining gates, just in case a large dog wants to play with a medium dog or any variable in between.

     Some dogs enjoy the perfect temperature inground pool, while others are splashing in smaller pools or even others are entertained by just rolling around.  The large lawn area surrounding the pool is fenced and gated. "We hang out here alot", says Heidi.  "And, yes we do get in the year-round warm pool with puppies and dogs.  

    This is a very thought out experience for each and every dog.  Each and every dog gets a variety of areas and experiences to explore.  Statistics have shown dogs have less boredom and stress with variety.  Stimulated with variety and fresh air, add play and a little relaxation and we have a wonderful combination for a healthy dog.

  Heidi is well aware of the busy lives in Sonoma County and the pet owners visiting their family, along with tourists needing care for their pets.  The Meadows is here for you and your pet instead of leaving your dog at home alone, during the day.  The Meadows offers a healthy, stimulating and restful experience; a fun alternative from inside your home or yard.  "Your pet will love it here and we will love your pet."

    Pets here have the advantage of romping, playing and running outside as much as they need or want on varied surfaces and real grass.  We have experienced that from small to large, dogs need this kind of space to be able to run with the feeling of, "I'M FREE!"  and burn off daily stress and stored energy.  The pool is always available with your pets own private lifeguard.  So, come romp, roll and have lots of swim play. 

   Heidi says, "We are animal people too, and we understand the bond between you and your pet."  Owners are always welcome everywhere on the property when dropping off or picking up their pets.
